What to Expect at Your Follow-up Appointment

If you're getting ready for your follow-up appointment, you're probably wondering what actually happens once you're in the chair again. Here's the rundown.

We start by taking a look at your healed brows. This is the most important part — the color and shape settle differently once everything heals, so we check how they turned out before doing anything else. From there, we talk through it together. What do you love? Is there anything you'd want a little more defined, darker, or shaped slightly differently? This is your chance to say so.

Once we've talked it through, I remap your brows. Even if we're keeping the same general shape, a follow-up is the perfect time to fine-tune anything that shifted during healing — evening out symmetry, adjusting the arch, whatever needs a small tweak.

Before we get started, you're given numbing cream so the appointment stays comfortable. It needs a few minutes to take effect, so this is usually a nice slower part of the visit — you can relax while it sets in.

Then we get to work. This part is quicker than your first session since we're refining rather than starting from scratch. Once we're done, you'll walk out with brows that are even more precise than the first round.

Follow-ups aren't just a formality — they're where the results really get locked in.
